What you'll be doing
Lower North Shore Older People’s Mental Health Service (OPMHS) is a specialised clinical service.
You will be working with a supportive multi-disciplinary team, providing assessments, care planning and treatments for older consumers presenting with a mental illness.
The team provides a recovery oriented service which is client-centred and collaborative, family inclusive and trauma-informed. We liaise closely with General Practitioners and other service providers to assist consumers to develop sustainable support networks and promote positive mental Health outcomes.
1. Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APRHA) registration as a Registered Nurse.
2. Demonstrated skills in conducting comprehensive mental health assessment and management, including assessment, risk management and care coordination.
3. Demonstrated understanding of the Recovery Model of care within Mental Health and the ability to implement and evaluate these care
4. Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
