What success looks like in this role:
The Position will be a dedicated Microsoft Teams, Direct Routing and other Unified Communication platforms.
This role will work with the Digital Workplace – Unified Communication Lead to architect UC technologies such as on-premises deployment, migration to MS Teams from different platforms (E.g., Skype for Business, Zoom etc.).
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1. Expert-Level in Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Lync/Skype-for-Business and integrated technologies
2. Strong hands-on experience in complex enterprise Unified Communication platforms
3. Expert-Level experience in Configuring and Administration of High Availability environment for Unified Communication technologies, Direct Routing, SBCs environments.
4. Expert-Level experience Spectralink DECT-Solution
5. Experience with Creation, modification and deletion of end devices, DECT servers and DECT transmitters.
6. Experience with Operation of the OVOC server incl. patch management
7. Experience with Luware Contact Center solutions
8. Expert with managing application policy for controlling and accessing Luware routing within the Microsoft Teams client.
9. Expert in managing Luware Attendant Console
10. Environmental changes – consolidation, platform upgrades, SBC firmware and security management
11. Test, where appropriate and possible, in a production simulated laboratory environment any new Digital Workplace Collaboration technology prior to production implementation.
12. Optimize the performance of the environment, including reconfiguration, maintenance and/or upgrades.
13. Plan, Develop, Test, Provision, Administer and manage all related systems related to Digital Workplace Unified Communication and collaboration
14. Manage and plan both hardware and software upgrades as necessary for Digital Workplace Messaging technologies.
15. Create and maintain all documentation for all architecture, build, integration, transition and maintain phases of the Digital Workplace Messaging technologies.
16. Conduct hardware capacity planning and make recommendations based on future direction and needs as it relates to supporting Digital Workplace Messaging technologies.
17. Support partnerships with Microsoft and other vendors that make up the Digital Workplace technology area.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
18. NV1 Security Clearance is required.
19. Must be an Australian Citizen
20. Expert-Level in Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Lync/Skype-for-Business and integrated technologies
21. Advance-Level understanding of MS Teams, Direct Routing, Meeting Room technologies such as Crestron, Surface Hubs, Poly etc.
22. Advanced experience with SBC such as AudioCodes, Ribbon/Sonus, MediaPacks or any other Analog Gateways, SIP Trunks, VOIP, ISDN E1/T1
23. High-Level of understanding of Microsoft’s Productivity Software – Collaboration Suite (MS Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
24. Strong understanding of ITIL.
25. Strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell.
26. 8+ years of working with Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business / Lync 2013/ Lync 2010, Direct Routing, SBCs and/or any Microsoft and Networking Technical related technologies.
27. 4+ years of relevant work experience as a Tech Lead in technical support to Enterprise Customers.
28. Proven experience in managing complex Microsoft Unified Communication and collaboration enterprise environment for large global enterprises
29. Solid understanding of UC, VOIP, SBCs, MTRs
30. Microsoft Certifications in the relevant Microsoft technologies required for this position.
