The Opportunity

This Clinical Care Manager role provides clinical leadership and is responsible for leading all aspects of the Clinical and Care practice, including delivery of high-quality care to the community and oversight of collaborative care planning in partnership with residents and their representatives. The Clinical Care Manager is accountable for the supervision of nursing and care teams, local management of the clinical governance framework and is also a key role in the quality improvement cycle for the facility.
Reporting to the Facility Manager, the Clinical Care Manager will be responsible for:
* Driving a positive internal culture amongst the team of Nurses and Care Staff.
* Ensuring Clinical and Care team members work to embed quality care and clinical governance systems and processes, aligned to the LifeCare Way.
* Supporting the Facility Manager to ensure Clinical and Care labour cost-management initiatives are fully adopted within the facility, and costs are aligned with income streams (e.g. AN-ACC).
* Developing care plans, including establishing optimal and quality lifestyle goals.
* Lead engagement with key clinical stakeholders including resident families, suppliers and referring clinicians
About You
For this appointment we are seeking an experienced leader with a track record in developing and leading clinical services. In addition, the successful candidate will have;
* Current AHPRA registration as a registered nurse with the with no current conditions placed upon registration.
* Minimum 5 years’ postgraduate clinical experience within health care, aged care, or another relevant environment.
* Experience in motivating teams, managing performance, and delivering on accountabilities.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* It is a mandatory requirement when working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Clearance or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of this role. Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
