Our client, based in Dandenong are a leading player Australian beverage and food company known for producing a range of health-focused drinks, including juices, smoothies, and protein shakes.
They are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead their FMCG team and drive continued growth and success.
This is a full-time permanent day shift position role, offering a competitive salary package and the opportunity to work in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring safety, inventory accuracy, and on-time dispatch (DIFOT).
Implement and manage Warehouse Management Systems for greater operational efficiency.
Coordinate inbound/outbound goods, including containers and palletized items, ensuring accurate receipt and inventory processes.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure seamless material supply and finished goods flow.
Drive operational cost management, ensuring resources are used efficiently and stay within budget.
Lead, mentor, and engage a high-performing team to achieve company objectives, fostering a collaborative and efficient environment.
Delegating tasks to the warehouse team and maintain accurate stock levels.
Occasionally operating a counterbalance forklift to load & unload products onto trucks/containers.
Coordinating stock deliveries and ensure quality control of all products upon arrival and customer delivery.
Ensure adherence to OH&S and GMP/HACCP standards within the warehouse.
Recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives for operational processes.
Qualifications & Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in an FMCG or food warehouse environment.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage large teams.
Experience in managing beverage products (such as soft drinks, milk, juice, or short shelf-life products) is highly desirable.
Expertise in WMS, specifically SAP, with experience in system implementation and training.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong decision-making abilities, focused on process improvement and operational issue resolution.
Current LF forklift licence.
Valid Victoria (or Australian) driver's licence.
