Job Opportunity: Boilermaker / Fitter / Boilermaker Apprentice Suncoast Asphalt is seeking skilled and dedicated individuals to join our growing team Whether you're an experienced Boilermaker, Fitter, or have recently started your career as a Boilermaker Apprentice, we want to hear from you These are full time positions based out of the Narangba Asphalt Plant, working Monday to Friday and rostered weekend work according to business needs. Key Responsibilities: Boilermaker/Fitter: Perform fabrication, assembly, and maintenance of metal structures and equipment. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Install, assemble, and maintain a wide variety of machinery and equipment. Conduct welding, cutting, and shaping of metal components. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to ensure optimal performance. Boilermaker Apprentice: Assist senior team members in the fabrication and assembly of metal structures. Learn to read technical drawings and gain hands-on experience with welding and machining. Participate in training programs to develop your skills and knowledge in the field. Work on-site to support the maintenance and repair of heavy machinery. Key Requirements: For Boilermakers/Fitters: Proven experience in boilermaking, fitting, or mechanical trades. Strong welding skills (TIG, MIG, Stick) and experience with various metalworking tools. Ability to work with technical drawings and blueprints. High attention to detail and commitment to safety standards. For Apprentices: A genuine interest in the boilermaking and fitting trades. Willingness to learn and work as part of a dynamic team. Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment. A strong work ethic and commitment to completing the apprenticeship program. Why Suncoast Asphalt?
