Description We currently have several opportunities for General and Site Supervisors to join our team. This position will support the Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture (RRJV), which is a 50/50 joint venture between Downer and CPB Contractors to undertake major upgrades and replacement of existing infrastructure and facilities. The proposed project consists of a program of works across three Department of Defence establishments including: Albury Wodonga Military Area (including North, South & East Bandiana, Latchford Barracks, Wirlinga) Blamey Barracks (Kapooka) RAAF Base Wagga The proposed capital investment of $1.7b will incorporate a variety of elements including: Construction of new messing and living in accommodation Construction of new training facilities Refurbishment and upgrading of existing buildings Remedial works and upgrades to infrastructure services For further information please visit the Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture Website - https://rrjv.com.au/ We are seeking candidates to be part of our team on the redevelopment project, covering the Albury Wodonga Military Area, Blamey Barracks (Kapooka) and the RAAF Base Wagga. The role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below: Maintaining a comprehensive working knowledge of the contract, the specifications, the EBA and safety and environmental regulations. Effectively coordinating and supervising the utilisation of all on-site resources for the project. Contribute to development of work methods and rolling short term construction programs and plan daily/weekly production work. Work with logistics teams eg. the crane crew to ensure maximum efficiencies during operating hours. Ensuring all workers are inducted onto site before commencing work. Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and all relevant Company and Group policies and processes. What you’ll bring AQF Certificate III in Construction (or equivalent) and a trade-based certification. Extensive relevant experience in construction industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisor capacity. Managed self and resources to deliver work to the value between $10M and $50M. Applying principles of construction to deliver works in accordance with scope of works technical criteria (SWTC) Demonstrated commercial experience to include planning up to 1 month ahead and monitoring cost and time of resources within area of accountability.
