About the OPPORTUNITY
Situated 40 kilometres west of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, Coolgardie Health Centre is located at the old hospital site within the town of Coolgardie. Visiting services are provided by the team to the small community of Kurrawang too. Services are also provided to Community Health services provided are:
1. Palliative Care
2. School Health
3. Telehealth
4. Others services are provided by visiting WACHS Goldfields staff
5. A private Medical Practice provides visiting GP services
6. Aboriginal Health
7. Child Health
8. Chronic Disease
9. Ear Health
10. Emergency
11. Health Promotion
12. Immunisation
13. Outpatients
About You
The successful applicant will have:
14. Evidence of significant recent post graduate nursing experience with demonstrated advanced nursing knowledge and skill in an emergency setting and/or primary health care.
15. Understanding of the principles of Primary Health Care, the Family Partnership approach, client focused care and the application to practice.
16. Demonstrated understanding of Aboriginal and other ethnic cultural issues and the impact on client’s health in a rural environment.
