The Leader of Learning position is offered as a temporary contract. The successful applicant will be offered a full time permanent position teaching at the school.

Leader of Learning - HSIE
The person appointed will have a permanent teaching position in the College and will involve a teaching load.
Co2 point 'Leaders of” positions are offered a contract within a set 3-year cycle as Co-ordinator 2. The current 3 year cycle is 2025 - 2027
All Co-ordinator positions are advertised every 3 years within the College and incumbents are eligible for reappointment.

* have a current NSW Working with Children Check
* full accreditation with NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA)
* compliance with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment
Teacher Accreditation:
Teachers who are appointed to a leadership position, whether new to the position or applying to be re-appointed, should have begun, or will begin to make a commitment to the requirements of the diocese Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead document, Category C (Category E for positions of Catechesis and School Evangelisation), during this next triennium cycle.
To be eligible to apply for a (Co2) position a teacher would normally be a fulltime permanent teacher classified Step 2 Proficient on the Teachers Standards Classification.
Each teacher in a leadership position (Co2) will participate in an ongoing performance review in accordance with the Diocesan Policy & Procedures for Performance Review of Coordinators.

* Capacity and skills to lead others to enable success for all students
* Ability to lead learning and change for improved student outcomes
* Capacity to lead inclusive and responsive practices
* Ability to manage effectively
Other criteria:
* Ability to teach Stage 4-6 History, with extensive experience teaching Stage 6 Modern History essential
* Ability to teach Stage 4-6 Religious Education desirable
* A willingness to lead and contribute positively as part of a professional learning community
* Updated professional learning pertaining to HSIE
Qualifications in a specialised faculty must be addressed in the application. The successful applicant must be able and willing to fully participate in the religious dimension of the College.
