We are seeking diverse and talented applicants for our 2025 Apprenticeship Program. This is an outstanding opportunity for candidates to develop a dynamic and fulfilling career within the mining industry, in the following trades:
* Mechanical Fitter - MEM30205 Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Mechanical Fitter ZA)
* Electrical Instrumentation Technician - MEM31219 Certificate III in Engineering - Industrial Electrician
* Light Vehicle Mechanic AUR30620 Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology)
* Boilermaker - MEM31922 Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade
What we can offer you:
* A four-year apprenticeship within a complex hydro-chemical plant.
* Certificate III in one of the aforementioned Trades – achieved through a combination of hands-on, on-the-job training in our process plant or mine workshop, as well as off-site training, in a block training format, at various Perth TAFE campuses
* Supervised training program, rotating in areas of the mine and processing plant.

* Nationally recognised qualifications – involving structured TAFE block periods away from site

About You
Applicants wishing to apply for the Murrin Murrin Apprenticeship Program must have:
* Hold a current and valid WA "C" class manual drivers licence.
* Have residence in Perth WA
* Successful completion of year 12 (or equivalent) with passes in Maths, English and Science.
* Willing to travel to/from, and attend TAFE at various Perth based campuses
* Certificate II in Electrotechnology highly desirable for Electrical apprenticeship
* Hold a high commitment to safety systems, procedures and teamwork.
* Enthusiasm to learn and motivation to succeed.
* A positive attitude;
* Possess strong communication skills.
* Basic administrative and/or computing skills.
* Ability to perform duties in adverse environmental conditions, with temperatures sometimes exceeding 45*C.
