kMR has now been running for four years.
Role Description:As part of a team of four, you will:
Load necessary infrastructure from the Depot to deliver to siteConstruct, deliver, and pack down the necessary infrastructure for the 2025 edition of kMR, including but not limited to:The RunHub site at Wellesley Park in South Hobart.Parking at Cascades PaddockOn course aid stations at Pinnacle, Myrtle Forest, Mountain River, Cathedral Rock, and Fern TreeKey Responsibilities:Bump In & Bump Out RunHubMultiple marquees to appropriate safety standardsStart & Finish chutes with Crowd Barriers (CCBs), banners, and archesServices reticulation including water, lighting, power (under supervision of a licensed Electrician as required)Tables, chairs, umbrellas, and any other furniture/infrastructure as required.Signage parking areaAid Stations Marquees as per site planTables, chairs, and other equipmentRunner chutes, parking infrastructures, and spectator exclusion zones as requiredNote:Whilst the key functions and responsibilities for the role are set out above, kMR may direct an employee to carry out such duties or tasks as are within the limits of the employee's skill, competence and training.
Skills and Attributes:Ability to work in a small team, collaboratively and independently, demonstrating strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects on tight deadlines.Enthusiasm, positivity, integrity and self-motivation.Attention to detail, sense of humour and curiosity.Excellent verbal communication skills.Appropriate fitness for manual labour over multiple days, including in inclement weather.Ability to take direction but also be self-sufficient and apply common sense to allocated tasks where needed.Workplace Health and Safety:kMR aims to provide personal and professional development and training and the elimination of workplace harassment and discrimination.
