Procurement Analyst
As we continue our transformation and growth journey in the region, we are now looking to appoint a Procurement Analyst to join the team in Melbourne.
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, Asia Pac, this role will support procurement operations and leading short term (day to day) sourcing events and catalogue management.
In addition, this role will take responsibility for Tier 2 governance, process improvements and assisting the Procurement Manager with RFQ preparations. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the Procurement Analyst will also support the delivery of high-quality goods and services to the organisation at the lowest cost in a sustainable and ethical manner.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Procurement operations – assisting in the execution of daily procurement operations within Lineage’s ERP system. This involves working through high volumes of sourcing requisitions for equipment, supplies and services to manage and minimise tail spend.
2. Assisting in the preparation, submission, evaluation and management of RFP processes.
3. Administering new or expiring supplier agreements and contracts and negotiating when required.
4. Expanding catalogue management system to afford improved services and cost efficiencies across Asia Pac region.
5. Tier 2 Governance – process administration and improvement for e-invoicing, supplier portal expansion & onboarding, WSS contract management and purchase order compliance.
6. Managing supplier partnerships, ensuring contractual obligations are met, supplier concerns are addressed and claims against suppliers are resolved.
7. Assisting with the management of major suppliers to mitigate the effect of supply chain risks on site and/or transport operations, including in relation to Security of Critical Infrastructure Act 2018 requirements
Your experience should ideally include:
8. Bachelor’s degree in business or Procurement (or similar) or equivalent purchasing experience, ideally within the Warehousing and/or Supply Chain industries
9. General knowledge of sourcing and procurement practices
10. Experience in data/spend analysis is highly desirable
11. Catalogue management experience i.e. adding/deleting SKUs, EIB upload etc
12. Exposure to procurement & purchasing governance practices for the purposes of supplier onboarding, contract management and PO compliance
