About the Role Are you ready to join the digital bank of the future?An exciting opportunity has opened up in our People & Culture division for a People Operations Officer to support BOQ Group on a 6-month Max Term Contract.As a People Operations Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional support to BOQ Group employees and the internal People and Culture departments.Your contributions will add significant value to our organisation, ensuring smooth operations and high levels of customer service.You will be instrumental in onboarding new employees and offering vital administrative support.In this role, you will manage high volumes of email requests and incoming calls from across the Group, applying your knowledge to solve problems and support customer needs.Building sustainable relationships and trust with customers and internal stakeholders through open and interactive communication will be key.You will provide accurate, valid, and complete information in a timely manner, and support policy and procedure interpretation and application.Supporting the People and Culture division, you will handle all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes, movements, and separations.You will assist with Employee Due Diligence and provide advice on Human Resources queries, facilitating sound HR practices and understanding within the business.Additionally, you will coach and guide leaders in the appropriate use of self-service tools such as the BOQ Group intranet and HRIS and contribute to general HR tasks value confidentiality, discretion, and tact.We are seeking someone who can hit the ground running and demonstrate a range of skills and experience.You have a keen eye for detail and are adept at working with various systems and business tools.Your strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products and DocuSign are essential.You excel in handling phone contacts and possess active listening skills that ensure effective communication.Time management and prioritisation are your strengths, allowing you to manage tasks efficiently.Your interpersonal and relationship-building qualities are exceptional, fostering a collaborative work environment.With a 'can-do' mentality and tenacity, you strive to make our people operations function effective and efficient.Your proven customer support experience in high-volume environments showcases your ability to thrive under pressure.While a degree in Human Resources or equivalent is desirable, it is not essential.What matters
