This role involves inspiring and motivating the leadership team while ensuring accountability for the delivery of results to all stakeholders.As part of this role, you will drive the establishment and integration of robust quality systems throughout your service unit. You will implement effective monitoring and tracking systems to uphold performance standards. Identify potential areas of risk and proactively develop strategies to mitigate any impact, ensuring a resilient and high-performing service environment.Service DeliverySupervise and support leadership teams within the designated portfolio to achieve high-quality outcomes aligned with the organisation's vision and values.Oversee program performance to ensure compliance with contractual, organisational, and legislative standards.Monitor budgets and expenditures, collaborating with Service Managers to meet financial targets.Identify and leverage opportunities for service expansion that align with the organisation's evolving values and mission.People ManagementOffer coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to current and aspiring leaders across Uniting Communities.Guide change management efforts, ensuring clear communication and engagement with all stakeholders (both internal and external) to support successful transitions.Define and communicate team and business unit expectations, utilise reliable data to assess performance, and implement strategies to enhance outcomes.Take an active role in recruiting for all leadership positions within their portfolio area.Qualifications and ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience in Community Services or a related sector as well as leadership experience.Additionally, you will need the following: Demonstrated experience in writing tenders and leading projects with successful outcomes.Tertiary Qualifications in a related field.Strong business and financial acumen; including experience creating and managing budgets.Why Work For Us?In addition to your salary, you can package up to $15,900 per year pre-tax and additionally a $2,650 Meals and Entertainment card.12 Weeks Paid Maternity Leave1 Week Paid Cultural Leave for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander StaffPlease attach a cover letter addressing the role and your passion for working in Community Services, as well as a current resume.Closing date is midnight 1st December.
