This role is ideal for an engineer eager to deepen their expertise in financial trading systems.
Your Role & Responsibilities As a key contributor to their agile squad, you'll play an essential role in ensuring the quality and reliability of their trading and financial platforms.
Your primary responsibilities include: Domain & Application Expertise: Gain deep knowledge of financial markets, including FX currency, commodities, and cryptocurrency trading.
Become proficient in our applications—how they deploy, configure, and operate—to effectively debug and identify root causes of issues.
Analyze user stories and epics to determine automation readiness before implementation.
Test Automation & Quality Focus: Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks using C# Collaborate with developers and QA team members to build robust test automation suites.
Design tests from an end-user perspective, ensuring software quality aligns with client needs.
Review and validate software documentation for accuracy and compliance.
Work within an agile environment, participating in standups, sprint planning, and reviews.
Automate and execute acceptance tests and end-to-end integration testing.
Ensure all automated tests integrate seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
Utilize a range of testing tools and frameworks, including BDD/Gherkin, Reqnroll, Selenium, Postgres, SQL, and Ansible.
Stay updated with industry trends to enhance testing strategies.
Maintain clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices.
What We're Looking For Essential Skills & Experience: Proficiency in C# or Java, along with SQL expertise.
Understanding of IT infrastructure, including server setup and database management.
Experience working within an agile development environment and following QA best practices.
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks.
Knowledge of REST API testing.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
