In this role you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team in developing and enhancing processes whilst also being part of the review and likely rollout of a new payroll system.
In this role, you can look forward to duties such as:Manage and lead weekly and fortnightly in-house end-to-end payroll processing, compliance, and legislative requirements.Overseeing payroll reporting, reconciliations, and workers' compensation processes.Driving payroll system improvements and identifying process efficiencies.Leading and developing the payroll team while ensuring data confidentiality.About youMinimum of 5 years of payroll experience, including at least 2 years in a senior role.Proven experience in payroll management, ideally within the construction industry.Strong knowledge of payroll processes, compliance, and regulations.Experience with system implementation is highly desirable.Tertiary level of education is preferred.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines effectively.Why SHAPE?We have the ambitious vision to be 'the place where everyone wants to work'.
