We provide IT support services to over 500 clients and have two Datacentres that provide a range of Cloud Services to clients using technologies from industry leading vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, HP and Pure Storage.We have a position available for a Contracts Officer in Darwin, NT. This role will assist the Contracts Manager in the negotiation, creation, execution, initiation and review of Area9's customer and supplier contracts across the company.Key responsibilitiesReviewing and updating existing customer contracts.Preparing new contracts.Explaining terms and conditions to line managers.Assisting the Contracts Manager to review and analyse potential risks involved in specific contract terms.Assisting the Contracts Manager with review and management of supplier contracts.Management of the contract process including contract initiation, notifying line managers of all deadlines and conditions described in contracts to ensure contract obligations are met during the life of a particular contract.Managing and maintaining all contract records.Tracking and reporting on contract status, risks and issues, as required.Identify potential risks and escalate to Management as required.Liaising with and interpreting advice from external legal advisors.Conduct onboarding/offboarding of customer and vendor contracts.Prepare reports as required.Maintain and improve documentation, policies, procedures and monitoring systems/databases.Skills & Experience requiredExperience in working with and administration of contracts.Understanding of contract law, and ability to analyse potential risks involved in specific contract terms.Understanding of contracts, and an ability to translate and write legalese.Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel), and general computer skills.Excellent writing skills.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Excellent communication skills, i.e., the ability to prepare and deliver clear, concise verbal and written communication.QualificationsDegree or Diploma in law will be favourably considered.Working with Area9With Area9 you will be part of a friendly and collaborative team, opportunity to join our Social Club and receive staff discount on purchases from our online store.Salary and perks include:Applicable Superannuation.Social Club.Staff service awards.How to applyYour application must be accompanied by a cover letter addressing the role requirements.Only Australian residents or those who hold the relevant Visa with authority to work in Australia are eligible to apply.You must be willing to undergo a National Police Check.Applicants must reside in Darwin, NT.Upload your Cover Letter and Resume.
