Group Manager Legal | Group Manager Legal | Commercial Employment & Info Law | Commercial Law Commercial Law is responsible for providing legal assistance to the Department on a wide range of complex and strategic procurements and contracts, some of the highest value in the Commonwealth. We work across a broad variety of teams in the Department and Portfolio. We support procurements for essential goods and services which enable the Department to carry out its core functions including border management, and the provision of programs and initiatives, related to national security, immigration, and humanitarian programs. The Section plays an important role in providing legal advice on Commonwealth contracting policies, the Commonwealth Procurement Rules, grants, property law including leases, intellectual property, memoranda of understanding, international law, probity and dispute resolution.
