Your Role
Our Domestic Care Workers provide essential care services to our residents in support of our Personal Care Workers.
You will build strong relationships with our residents, families and team contributing to the optimisation of resident choice allowing them to live their best lives.
If you're interested in starting a career in care and/or are working towards your certificate III in Aged Care, this is the role for you!
What You'll Do
Providing basic mobility assistance such as walking with a resident or propelling their wheelchair Assisting with the delivery of meals and removal of dishes/meal trays Supervising residents in a memory support unit Stocking resident's individual continence bags Applying moisturizing skin creams Assisting residents with glasses, hearing and other aids Cleaning resident rooms and laundry duties Providing emotional support to residents and assisting their families/visitors Assisting residents to attend activities and do things that are of interest to them What you will bring:
Currently hold an NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain) Unlimited working rights in Australia Hospitality or Customer Service experience in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Compassion and Empathy An understanding of resident rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes (highly regarded but not essential) Interested?
