About the role Fixed term temporary part time opportunity to provide an efficient and confidential administrative service to staff, consumers and visitors who present to the Front Reception of Mental Health Services at Caboolture Hospital. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: Fulfil the role in accordance with Queensland Health's core values as outlined above. Provide effective administration support by delivering reception and office administration services that contribute to the operations of the Mental Health Service and the Organisation. General administration duties include but are not limited to, word processing, data entry, report preparation, correspondence management and filing. Provide first point of call, reception and telephone response service for patients and/or visitors on arrival to the Reception and ensure re-direction to the appropriate area using tact, diplomacy and discretion. At the completion of shift, complete a handover summary of tasks and activities that require follow-up by the Administrative Office returning to work the following day. Maintain competence in the use of information systems used within the Mental Health Service (and additional systems as required). Major systems currently include the Hospital Based Corporate Information System (HBCIS), the Consumer Integrated Mental Health Application (CIMHA) and ESM.
