Isuzu UTE Australia (IUA) are the official distributor of the Isuzu D-MAX and MU-X range across Australia.
IUA is experiencing strong growth within the marketplace and require a dynamic, innovative Technical Support Specialist to support business growth in the Service Department in our Brisbane Head Office.
Reporting to the General Manager – Service, this role is responsible for assisting the Senior Technical Manager, forming part of the Technical Assistance Centre (TAC) team.
This position will be a key support to IUA's TAC team activities including providing technical vehicle diagnostic support and innovative solutions to IUA's internal departments, our Dealer Network, and interacting directly with the manufacturer.

About you The successful candidate will have a proven track record in product quality improvement and investigation & control of displaced parts, with strong communication and customer orientated skills.
You will display a passion for all things related to providing technical vehicle diagnostic support, have a strong work ethic, and positive attitude are essential for this role.
Product knowledge of IUA vehicles would be seen as advantageous for the role.
About the role As a Technical Support Specialist, some of your key responsibilities will include:
Create in-depth technical reporting providing 'Failure Mode Analysis' reports identifying the suspected root cause for each failure;Assist in the analysis of market claim data monthly predicting failure trends to prioritise investigations and suggested countermeasures;Provide technical support and guidance to dealers when they have exhausted all reasonable avenues of diagnosis, accurately recording all cases and correspondence in the TAC system;In consultation with the Technical Manager provide clear and concise direction to Dealers for technical support cases whilst ensuring all communications are recorded;Prepare all necessary documentation and arrange shipping of defective parts to be returned for investigation by the manufacturer;Support recall and/or Service Campaign activities, including the implementation and monitoring of established countermeasures/field fix issues;Support for Service Publications, Special Tools (Including Tech II & G-IDSS) as directed;Assist in the development of Service Bulletins and technical documentation for the network;Support related departments in the development and installation of genuine accessories.Skill & Expertise: Related degree qualification and or Cert III Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.Demonstrated experience in the automotive industry or similar.High level of mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills.Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.Experience liaising with suppliers.Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel with strong administrative skills.Proven experience with project management skills.Showcase a high attention to detail.What we offer IUA employees are diversely supported as we recognise that our people are the core to the success of our business.
