About The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to join our Maintenance team based at Kemerton just North of Bunbury, in the idyllic South West of WA and is offered on a permanent basis working a 9 day fortnight, 38 hour average week.
The Electrical & Instrumentation Technician is responsible for supporting the plants upkeep and maintenance. Main duties include:
10. Maintenance and fault finding on Electrical, Instrumentation and Honeywell DCS systems
11. Fixed Plant inspections and maintenance
12. Assist in operational tasks to minimise plant downtime, including preparing and isolating equipment
13. Complete work orders and appropriate reporting to a high standard to ensure accurate and detailed information is entered into Tronox’s Systems
14. Statutory testing and inspections including log book entry
15. Installing and commissioning modifications and design changes to control, instrument and electrical equipment in accordance with standards.
16. Utilising SAP to obtain parts and complete documentation/reports as required.
17. Participation in team projects and sharing continuous improvement ideas that may enhance maintenance, safety, process and cost reduction.
18. Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and workmanship.
About you
To be successful in your application you will ideally need to possess:
19. Electrical Trade Certificate (essential)
20. Cert IV instrumentation (essential)
21. HV switching certification (desirable)
22. High risk licence; forklift, working at heights, confined space
23. Hazardous area certification (desirable)
24. Experience with gas appliances (desirable)
25. Fixed Plant experience and the ability to interpret engineering drawings (desirable)
