Our State Government client is seeking AO6 Senior Workforce Officer for an early June start to August 4, with possible extension. This onsite role (5 days in the office), you will work within a team environment to support the delivery of an efficient and effective workforce management function. In addition to supporting all phases of recruitment and providing information to assist with establishment management, you will provide strategic advice to management to ensure optimal workforce levels and capability are maintained across the department.
As the Senior Workforce Planner, you will be:
1. Oversee and support all phases of multiple government recruitment processes (case management approach).
2. Partner with key stakeholders across internal business groups to conduct workforce planning, support recruitment, and identify workforce risks and opportunities for effective provision of resources and capability.
3. Interpret workforce data to support internal business groups and teams to understand workforce implications at a tactical and strategic level.
4. Provide strategic advice to leaders to ensure optimal workforce levels and capability are maintained.
5. Help embed workforce, recruitment and resource planning tools and capability.
6. Build and maintain productive working relationships with staff and leaders.
7. Review and provide information to assist with workforce management.
To be successful in this role:
8. Ideally have experience coordinating government recruitment processes.
9. Have effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
10. Have high-level of attention to detail, including with drafting advertisements, processing forms, and communicating with applicants.
11. Relevant qualifications (Project Management, Human Resources, or Workforce Planning/Analytics)
