Household Staff, Grade 1 - Full Time - Temporary - Multiple Positions - Farrer Memorial Agricultural High SchoolThe NSW Department of Education provides, funds and regulates education services for NSW students from early childhood to secondary school, delivering world-class education through its public schools and providing funding support to non-government schools.About the RoleTo be successful in the Dining Room Attendant role, you will need to have the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and have good communication skills. You will perform a range of tasks in the dining room including: setting up tables, clearing and carrying used dishes/cutlery, and washing up crockery and cutlery after meals.You will undertake general cleaning tasks to maintain the dining room and related areas in accordance with prescribed procedures and standards. You will comply with Food Safety & Hygiene requirements, including specific dietary requirements of individual students with allergies and food intolerances. Other related duties may be assigned by the Principal or delegate.To be successful in the Laundry Attendant role, you will need strong planning and prioritising skills. You will perform tasks relating to the laundry including sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and distributing clothing and linen. You will also undertake routine repairs to linen/clothing, complete basic stock control documentation, and manage inventory of goods and equipment.Other related duties may be assigned by the Business Services Manager.To be successful in the Housekeeper, Room Attendant role, you will need good planning and prioritising skills. You will undertake general cleaning tasks to maintain dormitories, offices, and accommodation areas to a satisfactory standard. Tasks could include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, rubbish removal, and replenishing bathroom amenities.
