THE COMPANY
Our client is a family-owned group of food companies catering to both the retail and wholesale markets across Victoria. With multiple sites across metropolitan and regional Victoria, they are currently in need of Pick Packers on their early morning shift, to join their growing and dynamic team.
To be considered for this role you need to be:
1. An early bird, and enjoy starting work at 3am and finishing at 11am Monday to Friday
2. Experienced in a picking role where you exhibit accuracy and an attention to detail
3. Physically fit and happy to complete manual loading of trucks with food products
4. Happy to work in a mix of temperature zones picking food items, from frozen, refrigerated and ambient temperatures
5. Committed to an ongoing assignment with a company who will invest time in your training & development
6. Current driver's license and reliable form of transport to get to work
7. Motivated and hard working and able to use initiative to perform all role requirements
Your role will involve:
8. Picking the orders in preparation for the days' delivery drivers
9. Loading and unloading food items from trucks
10. Tugger use and scanning
11. Working in dry and cold environments to pick orders
12. Inventory control and stock put aways
13. Organisation and accurate preparation of orders in accordance with pick slip
