About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and committed Clinical Nurse Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role combines clinical excellence with leadership responsibilities, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and team performance.
You will play a key role in managing day-to-day clinical operations, staff coordination, and adherence to protocols while maintaining a supportive environment for patient safety and staff development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage clinical and administrative operations independently.
2. Coordinate shifts and manage staff performance to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
3. Handle emergency situations such as adverse reactions, adverse events, and fire evacuation procedures.
4. Ensure proper collection, processing, storage, and tracking of biological samples.
5. Deliver training and professional development to nursing staff.
6. Adhere to good clinical practice guidelines and documentation protocols.
Requirements
* Registered Nurse accredited by AHPRA (Division 1).
* Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience in a hospital setting.
* At least 1 year of experience in staff management and shift coordination.
* Acute care experience in high-acuity settings such as CCU/ICU.
* Exceptional organisational, communication, and time management skills.
* Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Desirable Skills
* Knowledge of local and international good clinical practice guidelines.
* Experience in venepuncture, peripheral cannulation, and central venous access.
* Formal training in emergency resuscitation procedures.
