My client works on building envelope and general construction projects around the UK.
They have a full order book and are expanding.
They are currently looking to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor.Skills & Responsibilities:The candidate must be fully qualified with experience in the construction industry and hold a minimum of NEBOSH qualification.
The role will include the following:Regular site visits to multiple locationsPreparing site safety auditsPreparing risk assessments and RAMS as requiredOn-site training including bulletins, toolbox talks, etc.
for employeesAttending Health and Safety meetings for clients and in-house, including presentations where requiredCompletion of pre-qualification questionnaires as requiredDealing with any accidents and reportingMaintaining near-miss reports and dataAssisting with insurance renewals and reportsDealing with annual safety inspections and Achilles renewalsIdentifying risks to the business and implementing necessary changesAbility to work with others and possess good communication skillsYou must also have a good career record with other building contractors/subcontractors.
