Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge? We are looking for a Team Leader based at our Hobart site. You will be responsible for delivering support and services to a caseload of participants under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). You will take responsibility for the delivery of a high quality of service, referrals, rostering, professional development and supervision of a team of Support Workers and positive participant outcomes. You will work in collaboration with an established Team Leader to ensure a streamlined service for all stakeholders of the team based in Hobart. The position involves both leading and mentoring a team, as well as directly supporting people with disability when required. Whilst understanding the dynamic nature of support work and being dedicated to minimising the risks associated with the service, you will provide effective individualised and tailored supports to NDIS participants to enable them to achieve their goals. You will do this whilst considering input from all stakeholders associated with each participant. These supports will promote community inclusion, independence, decision making, choice and control. To aid you in this role, you will be provided with an Ultrabook with cellular connectivity, as well as an iPhone. The role is full time based, working 28hrs as a Team Leader with 10hrs of face-to-face Support Work. What we are looking for: Experience in successfully leading or managing a team; Proven experience in achieving desired program outcomes; Well-developed knowledge of the Disability Services Sector; Skills & experience in working with people with disability; Ability to use initiative and handle a variety of activities concurrently and with minimal supervision; Highly developed verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; Strong organisational, time management and presentation skills; Current drivers licence and own transport. The successful candidate will be required to complete a National Police Clearance Check and Working with Vulnerable People Check, have the legal right to work in Australia, obtain NDIS Worker Screening clearance prior to being offered a role with WISE Employment.
