ACCORD CARE is trusted in the provision of person-centred disability support services to NDIS participants. We provide Supported Independent Living, In-home care, Community Participation, Short-Term Accommodation, Community Nursing, and Allied Health Services.
About the role
We are looking for Female team members in our supported independent living arrangements in Deebing Heights to provide Supported Independent Living and Community Access.
The support worker's role and responsibilities will include:
* Supporting people with personal care and day-to-day activities in the home and out in the community
* Providing positive behaviour support to our clients
* Completing appropriate documentation through shift notes, incident reporting and data collection
* Contributing to the team's overall objective of providing the best outcomes for our clients
* Working with your team leader to implement and review plans around daily service provision
* Maintaining a professional relationship with clients and adhering to the NDIS and company code of conduct
* Above all, being responsive, reliable, and accountable to our clients and your team

Qualification/Experience:
* Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or Higher (or the ability to acquire an appropriate qualification)
* Mental Health Experience
* Problem-Solving Skills
* Challenging Behavior Experience
* Verbal/Written Communication and Relationship Building Skills
