In this role, you will help refine processes and systems involved in financial management and business operations.MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Management and Financial InformationOversee the timely and accurate production of management reports including commentary for the various business units, analysis on sales, inventory, pricing and costing variations, material usage.Reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts including, but not limited to inventory and fixed assets across the group.Reporting on performance trends and highlight systems and technology deficiencies in the manufacturing process.Working with existing systems, you will have the opportunity to develop and improve the current reporting and analysis that is being produced.Completion of Operational/CapEx budget and assist the team as required.Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts.Complete Strategy/Senior Executive Reports.Revenue GenerationInvestigate revenue-generating / cost-saving opportunities, and CapEx initiatives, analyse potential ROI and pursue/action where appropriate.Establish and monitor revenue/cost and margin targets.InnovationInvestigate new or more effective business processes.Effective and efficient utilisation of technology.Adherence to Legislation, Policies and ProceduresHelp to develop and maintain financial policy, standards and procedures documentation.Help develop and maintain standard work instructions for standard tasks within the finance department.Conduct and monitor reviews to ensure procedures are adhered to.SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:Exposure to MRP systems and the ability to make improvements to reporting and analysis.High level of business planning; including budgeting, and detailed, timely, and accurate reporting.Excellent time management, communication, and negotiation skills.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.Highly motivated, self-driven, energetic, results-driven, and goal-oriented.Ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.Tertiary qualifications in appropriate fields e.g. Finance, Commerce, or Business.CPA or CA Qualified.5 years' experience in a similar role within a complex manufacturing environment is desirable.WHY JOIN US?Competitive remuneration, generous bonuses & opportunity for career progression within our global organisation.Safe and supportive work environment by providing an Employee Assistance Program.On-site canteen, free parking, staff discounts, monthly staff BBQs and annual flu vaccination program.The Midfield Group is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
