Seymour Whyte is on the verge of an exciting milestone: securing our first project in Adelaide. As we prepare for this next chapter, we’re seeking an experienced Site Engineer with Procurement experience to join our Pre-contracts team. This is a rare opportunity to be part of our growing team in South Australia, driving tenders and EOIs to success, and then stepping into a pivotal role on-site to deliver the project.

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
Preparing quote requests and collecting and analysing quotes.
Ability to form and build relationships over the phone.
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications typically used in major civil construction projects.
Perform quantity calculations for tender input.
A strong attention to detail and ability to operate on a high-volume workload is essential.
Assist in the preparation of construction methodologies.
Assist in developing Traffic Management Plans and programmes.
Attending and participating in tender reviews.
Our ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or its equivalent.
Experience working within a civil construction environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Current C-Class Driver’s License.
