At Swissport, we are driven by our core values of Show You Care, Do the Right Things and Win as a Team".Reporting to the Payroll Manager, as one of our integral Payroll Officers in a medium sized team, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate processing of company payrolls (5000 staff on a fortnightly pay basis)!We welcome you to take this brilliant opportunity to join our corporate team based in our new premises in Mascot, NSW.Your ProfileExperienced Payroll Officer -A minimum of 3 years proven career history.A highly driven self-motivated team player who can be highly productive with minimum supervision.Strong Stakeholder focus with the ability to foster strong relationships.Attention to detail is paramount.Ability to interpret multiple awards employment agreements.Perform required tasks efficiently and precisely.Accounting Knowledge - an intermediate understanding is essential.Microsoft Office (Excel reporting - intermediate to advanced) is essential.Your activitiesFull end to end payroll processing.Responding to payroll queries in a timely manner.Payroll preparation for fortnightly pay run.Processing Workers Compensation claims and payment.Processing of journals.Payroll General Ledger reconciliations.Lodging of company returns with relevant payroll government agencies (including ATO, IRD, Payroll Tax and Superannuation).Assist with interpretation and implementation of changes in employment instruments and legislative requirements.Assist with system implementations and updates.Assist with development and documentation of robust payroll system & processes.Other duties as requested.Equal Employment Opportunity StatementAt Swissport, we believe in diversity, equal opportunity, and the power of our values to drive our success.
