We work closely with our client, a world-renowned aerospace company, to provide critical maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services for the Royal Australian Air Force's fleet, including the C-130J Hercules at RAAF Base Richmond, NSW. Who are we looking for?
We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Avionics) to join our client's team in Richmond, NSW. If you’re a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you’re the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.
These positions are suitable to people who are CASA licenced, EASA licenced, ex-DASA licenced and AMEs with C-130J type (or similar) experience.
Our client is committed to work with you on transitioning your licence, providing type training and the opportunity to be licenced on type for the C-130J Hercules platform.
The essential requirements
Experience in C-130J maintenance
Hold any of the below qualifications or greater:
Cert IV in Aeroskills (Avionics)
DASR 66 Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence (or previously held a licence)
CASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence
EASA Category B Examination Credits
Cert in Aeronautical Engineering (Level 4) (NZ)
Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering (Level 5 or greater) (NZ)
NVQ Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering (UK)
Craft Certificate - Aircraft Mechanics (IRE)
Understanding of relevant aircraft maintenance documentation and practices
Team player
Strong attention to detail
Good written and verbal skills
Must be a citizen of one of these countries: Ireland, Philippines, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom for ITAR purposes.
Additional qualifications
Experience in a heavy maintenance environment
Any military aircraft maintenance experience
You must be eligible for an Australian Government Security Clearance and have the capacity to satisfy pre-employment screening which may include criminal history checks, medical, and drug and alcohol testing.
Work hours
4-day work week (38 hours), Mon - Thu (6.00 am - 4.00 pm), with overtime available.
