Job Reference: 950074 About the Role Join our dynamic team as an Administrative Support Officer, where you will play a vital role in enhancing our Consumer and Community Involvement Program.
This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), fixed-term contract position lasting until 2027.
In this role, you will engage in various administrative activities that support our services and contribute to impactful area activities within the Faculty of Health Sciences.

In this role, you will, but are not limited to: Apply knowledge of rules and regulations to support operational outcomes and provide advice.
Solve problems using established guidelines and prepare necessary documentation.
Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, invitations, venue bookings, and catering arrangements.
Processing payments for consumers.
Assisting with communications (collating and sending newsletters to our database, uploading/scheduling social media posts).
Collecting and filing paperwork (i.e.
member agreements, financial documents) Monitoring the shared inbox and directing enquiries.
Answering the main phone line and directing enquires.
Assisting with phone interviews.
Assist with event logistics, newsletters and social media platforms for the Institute.
Selection Criteria Qualifications: Completion of a diploma qualification with relevant work experience; or a certificate level qualification with post certificate work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Time Management and Organisation: Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise tasks and manage time, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
Interpersonal Skills and Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently with minimal supervision.
Communication Proficiency: Strong written and verbal communication skills, facilitating clear and professional interactions with diverse individuals and showcasing cross-cultural sensitivity.
Technical Proficiency: Proven computer literacy, including advanced proficiency in word processing, social media platforms, spreadsheet software and email.
Record-Keeping and Database Management: Ability to develop and maintain accurate and efficient record-keeping systems and databases to support organisational needs.
Survey Creation and Analysis: Experience in designing basic surveys and analysing results to inform decision-making and improve processes.
Desirable Experience in a health research setting.
