Job Title: APS3 Participant Support Officer
Location: Ballarat
ASAP Start – Initial End Date: 31st December 2025
Pay Rate: $37.36 per hour + Super
We are seeking an APS3 Participant Support Officer to join a dynamic team, providing essential support to participants and ensuring smooth service delivery. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, excellent customer service, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and resolve participant matters in line with relevant guidelines.
2. Provide front-desk support, assisting with participant inquiries at self-help kiosks and online portals.
3. Respond to customer inquiries, offering information and referrals to government and community services.
4. Manage the team’s shared email inbox, appointments, and telephone inquiries.
5. Coordinate participant appointments, ensuring accessibility of facilities.
6. Conduct research, prepare reports, and handle correspondence.
7. Perform data entry tasks and ensure timely follow-ups.
8. Record and manage complaints and feedback in business systems.
About You:
1. Experience in customer service, administration, or community services.
2. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
3. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
4. High attention to detail and proficiency in administrative tasks.
5. Knowledge of disability services or government processes (desirable but not essential).
