Business Analyst - Planning and Data Management Our client, a global organisation within the mining industry, is seeking a Business Analyst for a Planning and Data Management project for an initial 6-month contract with possible extension. The role of the Business Analyst will be integral in organising, interpreting, and documenting business processes, as well as specific data and system-related tasks with stakeholders, coordinating workshop activities, value tracking, training, and planning. Your duties will involve: Stakeholder Mapping. Facilitating requirements gathering workshops. Risk assessment and prevention/mitigation planning. Articulating customer requirements for the delivery of functionality and features for Data Management and Mine Planning Systems. Development of project documentation in accordance with the Agile Project Management Framework (APMF). Assistance with the development of resource availability, cost estimates, schedules, and business benefits to support the submission of Investment Approval Requests (IARs). You will demonstrate the following: Strong, proven experience in requirements gathering, process definition, and process mapping, with the skills to draw/display/write-up findings within company templates in a concise and well-represented way. Experience in planning and facilitating workshops with multiple stakeholders and user requirements gathering. Team collaboration, proactive time management, and high attention to detail. Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills. Microsoft Teams / Microsoft SharePoint knowledge for documentation storage. The ability to present detailed technical information in written form that is clear and understandable by its intended audience.
