Job Description
Although no two days are ever the same, there are some things that you can expect to be involved in as a Visual Merchandiser include
1. Offering customers a high level of service, through styling advice, product knowledge and store experience
2. Analyse selling information and take responsibility for the visual direction of the store
3. Installing window displays
4. Creating inspiring outfits and styling mannequins
5. Merchandising stock on the shop floor
6. Support the sales staff with store operations
7. Set the visual merchandising standard for the store and train other managers and staff
8. Being a COS brand ambassador and providing the best experience for our customers.
Qualifications
To work as a visual merchandiser/manager, you should have some previous visual merchandising experience plus the qualities below.
9. Approximately 1 year experience as a visual merchandiser or visual assistant
10. Good communication skills
11. Customer focused & Good commercial abilities
12. Self-motivated, adaptable & positive
13. A genuine interest in others
14. Open to learn about and sell our products
15. Excellent planning and organisational skills
16. Creative mindset & interest in keeping updated with the latest trends, competitors
17. Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, weekends and evenings when required
