We currently have three full time, permanent positions available for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the bank as a Lending Enquiries Consultant in our Moe office. The Lending Enquiries Consultant is responsible for handling inbound customer enquiries.

What you will be doing
Inbound enquiries (phone, online, mail & fax) in accordance with Bank Australia’s policies and procedures in a professional and efficient manner with an emphasis on delivering exceptional service.
Participate in the Bank’s quality assurance program to achieve quality, productivity and service targets.
A willingness to learn about legislation governing lending and its impact on day-to-day loan processing.
Review loan procedures and policy and apply them to day-to-day work.
Participate in staff training and development as required.
What you will bring
Knowledge of banking products and services, or a willingness to learn.
Knowledge of lending legislation (e.g. National Credit Act and Privacy Act), or a willingness to learn.
Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills, verbal and written.
Ability to identify customer needs through questioning techniques.
Ability to investigate, problem solve and follow up queries.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Ability to work under pressure.
Empathy for customer’s financial circumstances.
Computer literacy. Commitment to Bank Australia’s purpose, aspiration, values and brand as well as the B Corp ethos.
