About This Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Postdoctoral Research Fellow to undertake research on family dynamics, gender inequality, and social disadvantage over the life course.
The successful applicant will fill a named position, the Mary Lee Family Dynamics Fellow, and will contribute to existing projects on family and gender inequality over the life course.
Key Responsibilities
1. Establish a research program and collaborate on research projects
2. Seek and manage research funding and publish in reputable journals
3. Utilize best practice research methodologies and participate in project discussions
4. Contribute to the development and delivery of teaching courses if opportunities arise
5. Supervise research assistants, Honours, and Higher Degree by Research students
Requirements
* Completion of a PhD in a relevant field of social science or a cognate discipline with significant quantitative or qualitative data analysis experience
* An emerging profile in research through publications, conference presentations, or other outputs
* Experience developing, managing, and conducting high-quality research
