About the ProjectMcConnell Dowell and CPB Contractors, along with Design partners Mott McDonald, Arup and Aurecon, have been awarded the Tram Grade Separation Projects as an Alliance, comprising of works at three main locations along the Glenelg Tram Line. The level crossings at Marion Road, Cross Road (MAC) and Morphett Road (MTX) will be replaced by tram overpasses, removing the interface with road traffic and creating new public spaces beneath. This project will improve network efficiency and safety at their locations for all users. These projects will be delivered by the Tram Grade Separation Projects Alliance (TGSPA) together with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport.Reporting to the Delivery Manager, you will work closely with the project operations team, contributing to the successful delivery of a key South Australian infrastructure project.Responsibilities include:Provide engineering expertise to facilitate the Civil construction processSupport and assist the Civil construction team in the execution of the project on time and to budgetEnsure design deliverables are clearly defined in support of construction and project deliverablesMaintain positive relationships with client representativesPromotion of the Alliance Charter including Our Values, Vision, Mission, and Key Result Areas, whilst understanding the individual contribution to its deliveryCompliance with the safety and environmental responsibilities specific to the Alliance Management Plan and promote the highest health and safety standardsTo be successful in this role you will need the following:Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil EngineeringPrevious exposure in the delivery of infrastructure projects including roads, traffic, footpaths and roadworksCompetent in planning & organising work schedules and delivering to timelinesStrong and clear communication skills, written and verbalMust be SA based or willing to relocate at own expense.About UsMcConnell Dowell – Creative Construction Our purpose is Providing a Better Life.
