This opportunity
Under the guidance of the Senior Manager, Digital Content and SEO, you’ll be responsible for crafting a written response to a wide range of briefs from a diverse range of internal clients. Tasks may include content for our self-service app, My Vodafone, and eCommerce content for our online purchase journey including cart and checkout. You’ll also craft content for our conversion rate optimisation program, support pages, merchandising copy, digital campaign pages and product pages.
Responsibilities
You’ll also support the Senior Manager, Digital Content and SEO in the management of the Digital Content and SEO team
1. Work closely with all areas of digital and internal clients to deliver accurate, clear and concise copy that:
o Responds to the brief
o Adheres to the Digital Tone of Voice Guidelines
o Maximises the chance of online conversion o Maximises the SEO opportunity
2. Work closely with UX Designers and Visual Designers to create effective copy which advocates for the needs of the customer
3. Work closely with developers for shoulder-checks
4. Comfortable presenting and justifying your work
5. Attend all required briefing sessions with other areas of the business
6. Keep up to date with news for the business products and services, and digital trends
Knowledge and experience
7. Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or similar
8. Experience with Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics
9. Ability to craft strong editorial, informational, merchandising copy, with solid experience in digital execution
10. Ability to craft UX copy for our online purchase journey
11. Demonstrated ability to craft app content
12. Ability to craft digital content for conversion rate optimisation and A/B tests
13. Demonstrated ability to craft digital content for search engine optimisation
14. Ability to draw actionable insights from digital data
15. Experience in justifying copy decisions
16. Strong communication and negotiation skills
