: Join our team as a Senior Event Project Officer at Events ACT and play a key role in delivering some of Canberra’s most iconic events. We are looking for a skilled professional with a background in event or project management who can manage contracts, coordinate diverse stakeholders, and ensure seamless event delivery.
In this role, you will monitor contracted event managers, maintain project documentation, and act as the primary communication point between team members and external partners. You will support event planning and delivery, manage suppliers and volunteers, and ensure workplace health and safety standards are met. Additionally, you will contribute to government grant applications, procurement processes, and contract documentation.
We seek someone with strong communication and project management skills, experience in high-pressure environments, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Integrity and professionalism are essential, as you will align with the ACT Public Service Values and Events ACT Values.

This position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk. Flexible Working/Hybrid Options: Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, job-sharing, flexible start, and finish times.
