You can choose your preferred roster at Ernest Henry: fly-in/fly-out from Brisbane, Cairns, or Townsville, or drive-in/drive-out with access to top-class camp facilities, or live locally in Cloncurry and return home every night.
The FIFO/DIDO roster is 8/6 (days) – 7/7 (nights) with a 12-hour shift. We offer flexible work options, so you can discuss your preferences with us.
About the Role
You will report to the Electrical Supervisor and support the underground electrical maintenance department. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Supporting asset management policies and standards
* Ensuring high-quality work to meet maintenance KPI targets
* Maintaining accurate records of work orders and test results
* Collaborating with the Supervisor and Planners to update Pronto data
* Gaining knowledge of underground assets, including fixed plant materials handling and hoisting systems
* Fault finding and calibration of instruments
* Assisting with High Voltage Network switching, following isolation and access requirements
About You
* Prior experience in underground mining environments with various fixed plant assets
* Safety-focused mindset and can-do attitude
* Basic computer skills and relevant machinery tickets
* Risk assessment, sound operational controls, and task execution competence for optimal fixed plant performance
