Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Student Support Officer located at Pyrmont (we are willing to talk to you about part-time or job share opportunities). The Student Support Officer will be responsible for providing interpersonal support to students, analysing student data, communicating with students, delivering excellent customer service, and providing technical support as needed.
What you'll be doing
* Serving as the primary point of contact for student inquiries and providing exceptional customer service
* Assisting with the coordination and administration of student enrolments, records, and academic transcripts
* Supporting the delivery of student programs, workshops, and other academic events
* Supporting our trainee students through their program, reporting on progress and helping the academic team identify trainee support required
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date student records and databases
* Providing administrative support to the academic and student services teams as required
* Collaborating with colleagues to identify and implement process improvements
* Adhering to all institute policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
What we're looking for
* Strong administrative and customer service experience, preferably in an education or student support setting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, staff, and stakeholders
* Proficient in using office software, such as Microsoft Office suite, and experience with student information systems
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
* A collaborative team player with a positive, solution-oriented attitude
* Relevant qualifications in administration, student services, or a related field would be highly regarded
