In this role, you will get to:
Participate in enterprise-level critical systems operational support to provide database services to the business application and peer technical teams Proactive health and performance monitoring including daily health checks Database Service performance reporting Database Scripting and Automation Perform capacity planning Drive continuous improvement and reduction in manual effort by automating deployments and configuration updates Execution of application and/or platform changes releases and service requests in supported environments Root cause analysis and service improvement solutions Liaise with appropriate teams for development of corrective actions or viable workarounds to resolve major incidents Adhere to ITIL guidelines for Incident Problem and Change Management Ensure all work is carried out and documented in accordance with required standards methods and procedures Let's talk about the team

We provide cloud focused client advisory and delivery services on areas such as hybrid cloud, workplace services, security, service desk and cloud service management/delivery.

Our Cloud Infrastructure Services enable enterprises to overcome the barriers to security design and implementation managing real business risks.
Let's talk about your capability and experience Previous experience in working for an MSP or large government department In depth expertise of all SQL versions. (On-prem and AWS) Proven SQL Server Design and Installation experience Configuration and administration of SQL server components (SSIS SSAS SSRS) Experience around SQL Server High Availability and Disaster Recovery capabilities including Always On Availability Groups and Log Shipping Experience working with Windows Server failover clusters Excellent skills with Performance tuning troubleshooting and optimisation. Automation using scripting languages and/or DevOps approach. Performance and capacity reporting/Analysis using Power BI. DB Monitoring and Alerting experience Azure or AWS experience would be highly regarded A hunger for knowledge with the passion to learn about the latest innovations in the industry which you will enjoy sharing with the wider team Adaptability to changing environments and workloads Ability to use own initiative About Capgemini
