Accredited with the TGA and APVMA, the high-tech facilities encompass a broad range of analytical equipment primarily used in the Pharmaceutical, Veterinary and Bioanalytical sectors.The successful candidate will be self-motivated with a positive attitude, willingness to learn on the job in a fast-paced, friendly environment with a dedicated team of like-minded professionals.
Advancement opportunities may exist for the right candidate.Candidates will initially be expected to keep the laboratory well stocked with consumables and assist with the Kanban system and to perform TOC, Nitrates Conductivity and Karl Fisher testing on pharmaceutical samples.
Candidates should also possess the ability to perform basic routine pharmacopeial testing (USP, BP/EP) on both raw materials and finished products.
The position relies heavily on current or developed expertise in analytical chemistry, with sound analytical techniques and attention to detail.
Experience in techniques such as pH, Karl Fisher, UV-Vis, FTIR, Polarimetry, Melting Point are also advantageous.QualificationsAt a minimum, a diploma in Chemistry, Analytical Science or a related discipline is essential, as well as at least 1-3 years experience working within a TGA Licensed Laboratory.
