The Role They are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Property Manager to join their team on a part-time basis, approximately 20 hours per week.
This role offers the perfect balance between autonomy and collaboration, as you will manage your own portfolio while working closely with a small and dynamic team.
Duties and Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring timely and efficient service Conduct routine inspections, rent reviews, and lease renewals Liaise with landlords and tenants to resolve issues, addressing maintenance requests and tenancy disputes professionally Coordinate and oversee property maintenance, repairs, and contractor services Process tenant applications, including reference checks and lease documentation Prepare and execute lease agreements, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation Conduct property marketing and manage advertising when properties become available Maintain up-to-date records and reports using property management software (PropertyMe) Assist with end-of-month procedures and financial reporting Skills and Experience Current Property Management Registration (essential) Proven experience in residential property management (minimum 2 years preferred) Proficiency in PropertyMe software or similar property management systems Strong knowledge of tenancy legislation and industry regulations Exceptional communication and negotiation skills Strong time management with the ability to work independently Problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle What's on Offer Flexible part-time hours: Choose either school-friendly hours or three full days per week to suit your lifestyle Opportunity to take ownership of the property management department and shape it to make it your own Potential to engage in business development activities to grow the portfolio and expand the client base Work in a modern, newly established office with a supportive small team Competitive remuneration package, with room for growth based on performance How to Apply Contact Mary-Jane Massicci at 8232 2220 for more details, or submit your Word document application today.
