About the role:

As a Senior Advisor – Customer & Stakeholder, you will need to work independently, be able to work in both proactive and reactive situations, and be comfortable engaging with operational team members as well as community members.
This is a full-time role based in Albany.
The fundamentals of the role:
Provide communications support and advice to the Regional Manager and Regional Lead Team.
Provide localized content for communication materials, including producing written and digital communication strategies and resources.
Develop, implement, and maintain effective communication and community engagement strategies to support the planning and delivery of minor work projects and programs.
Media liaison, responding to media inquiries and preparing media statements.
Support the management of incidents in accordance with corporate processes.
Manage customer and stakeholder issues and complaints.
Key skills and experience:
Qualification and/or substantial experience in stakeholder engagement, community engagement, or a related discipline.
Demonstrated ability to liaise with and build relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Highly effective verbal and written communication skills and an ability to summarize complex issues for common use.
Knowledge and experience in stakeholder/community engagement.
Prior IAP2 training desired but not essential.
Experience in Ministerial engagement and/or working with government processes is desirable.
Ability to travel within the Great Southern Region with occasional overnight trips.
