SUSHI KADO is looking for reliable and motivated Cooks or Chefs to join our restaurant.SUSHI KADO is a casual restaurant based on Japanese food. We offer a variety of Japanese foods such as 'DONBURI' which is a Japanese 'RICE BOWL DISH' and Korean style chicken wings. As a Cook at SUSHI KADO you will be a critical part of our growing business as you will be regularly preparing and cooking a wide range of our fresh, tasty dishes. Duties:examining foodstuffs to ensure qualityregulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipmentpreparing and cooking foodseasoning food during cookingstoring food in temperature controlled facilitiespreparing food to meet special dietary requirementsParticipating in plan menus and estimate food requirementsAssisting train other kitchen staff and apprenticesResponsibilities:Devote full working hours to the requirements of the roleExercise all reasonable skills,care and diligence in the performance of dutiesCarry out responsibilities in accordance with recognized standards consistent with training, experience and professional statusPromote the interests of the company and not do anything which may adversely affect the reputation of goodwill of the companyComply with the company's policies and procedures, together with all lawful directions given by the company and all legislative requirementsRequirements:At least 2 years of work experience in a commercial kitchenCertificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery a requiredHigh level of knowledge and skills in cookeryPreferred if you have an experience in Asian cuisine
