About the Role: As a Registered Nurse in Operation Theatre unit, you’ll play a pivotal role in providing high-quality care to a diverse range of patients. Your expertise, empathy, and commitment to patient well-being will have a profound impact on their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Patient-Centered Care: Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered nursing care on the ward.
* Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes.
* Safety First: Prioritize patient and staff safety while upholding the highest care standards.
* Team Leadership: Guide and supervise nursing team members, including Enrolled Nurses (ENs), to deliver top-quality patient care.
* Patient Education: Empower patients with education and support for their health recovery and overall well-being.
Essential Criteria:
* Current AHPRA Registration: Hold a valid registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
* Clinical Experience: Bring a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience to the role, with a strong foundation in theatre nursing.
* Commitment to Quality: Demonstrate unwavering commitment to delivering quality patient care in line with industry standards.
* Clinical Competence: Exhibit sound clinical decision-making skills and adept problem-solving abilities.
* Effective Communication: Showcase excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Team Player: Thrive both independently and as a collaborative team member.
* Basic Computer Skills: Possess proficiency in basic computer operations.
