Our client, Eylandt Enterprises, operates a well-established convenience store committed to providing exceptional service and quality products to customers. Eylandt Enterprises store is a cornerstone of the community and prides itself on creating a welcoming and efficient shopping environment.
The client is looking for a highly motivated full-time and experienced Retail Supervisor to join its team. The Retail Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing store operations, ensuring a high level of customer service, and supporting the store manager in meeting sales and operational goals. This role requires a proactive individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for retail.
You will need to have had previous supervisory experience at this level in a hands-on role including engaging staff, rostering, stock control, and budgeting.
Minimum Requirements:
· AQF Certificate III in the relevant field OR at least one year relevant experience in a similar role
In this role your main responsibilities include:
· Supervise and lead a team of retail staff, providing guidance and support.
· Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
· Restock shelves and maintain attractive displays
· Report on sales performance and develop strategies to increase sales
· Assist customers with purchases and provide product recommendations
· Maintain store standards, including cleanliness, product displays, and stock levels.
· Assist in training and developing team members.
· Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
· Manage inventory, including stock replenishment and ordering.
· Monitor and achieve sales targets and KPIs.
· Conduct regular cash handling and banking procedures.
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
